Sunday, February 7th, 2010

A new way of learning a new skill, keeping up with a new exercise workout, or developing your self-confidence has arrived. A large number of people are turning to audio books to help them get the best out of their lives. An inspirational story can push people to new heights in their workouts. Several free audio book downloads are available now through many different online sites. These books can help take the grind out of your workout and help you release some stress.

I would like to make it clear that I do not offer audio books myself; I actually offer a DVD replication service, I also sell cheap holidays and external doors.

Many books are tailored specifically to helping you attain your workout goals. These free audio books are a great way to find more enjoyable ways of working out. The audio books are also available in an MP3 format and for your iPod. I have to say that this is a superb way to listen to one of your favourite books at a time when you are hands are unavailable. These books are also a great way to shorten a long drive or keep your children occupied on vacation.

If you have not exercised much before, these are a great way to help you get started off in the right direction. Many of these free audio books will walk you through your new workout regime with step by step instructions. There are a range of audio books which also now offer music which can also help you to chill out or become additionaly stimulated. Quite simply this is a welcome addition for people who love to exercise and to get fit. If you are in the right mind frame, you are more likely to keep up with your workouts.

If you can focus on your exercises and not the clock, you can listen to the audio book and often become so involved that you may not realize you passed your goal.

The Perfect Headphones For Jogging

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

When I’m going out for a jog, it’s not that I am only getting exercise.  I am also collaborating in a fantasy.  I like to think of myself as self-willed, a go getter, a person willing to do anything to bump the limits and succeed.  The reality is always much different than this.  If I am having a poor day, if i am sore or achy, if I’m one degree under, or perhaps if I am distracted, it’s going to be tough to do my jogging.  That is why I always have headphones for jogging.  Listening to music is a great way to psych yourself up.

When I first started, I used my fancy noise canceling headphones for running.  I already had a good set of headphones, of course , so why not just ue those?  This was a major error.  Not only would they fall off my head, but I really dropped them and damaged them.  Though they continue to work, the headset is a little bent unfit, and the left ear buzzes a bit.  I realized that inexpensive ear bud headphones for jogging are a far better concept.  You don’t need noise cancellation headphones.  All you want is something which will play the music and get you through the routine.

Of course, the sort of earphones for jogging that you use, and the way you listen to music, depend on your workout and your environment.  We all like to listen to headphones while jogging, but safety must be the first concern.  If you cannot hear what is going on on around you while wearing your headphones for jogging, you shouldn’t be wearing them.  That means that you should not have the kind of headphones that cancel out noise.  Ear buds are the most effective way to go because they allow some sound to come thru.  Headphones for jogging are not the same kind that you use for your stereo at home.  High-quality headphones are actually deadly because they block outside sounds out.  This is another excuse why it is a brilliant idea to get cheap headphones for jogging.

Once you get your jogging headphones, you will have to face the problem of what to listen to while you run.  This can be difficult for folks.  My best advice is to get an MP3 player.  Put different music on it, and see what you like.  That way you can see what’s the best music for jogging that you own.

The headphones that we talked about here are just as suitable for runners using a treadmill. There are reviews and descriptions of many  treadmills on The Treadmill Blog.
